MY ROLE

  • I art directed, concepted and designed compelling product stories that were applied to eight Nissan vehicle landing overview webpages for both US and Global markets – Altima, Titan/Titan XD, Versa Note, 370Z Coupe/Roadster, Datsun Redi-Go (Nissan India) and Kicks (a new crossover vehicle for Brazil and the official car of the 2016 Rio Olympics)
  • I collaborated with Project Management, Production, Product, Copy and Studio to achieve the best solution for each vehicle landing page – Overview, Design, Features, Performance, Warranty and Accessories.
  • Managed a team of three while reporting directly to my Creative Director.
  • Prep, crop and resized CGI frames for each vehicle 360 spin function and the interior pan.
  • Produced comps/betas/storyboards for client presentations.
  • Applied designs to wireframes and from concepted sketches.

THE CHALLENGE

The major challenge we experienced was in having to work with an unforgiving platform – Adobe Experience Manager. AEM can be unstable at times and in some cases we’d lose webpages we’d only just created. Many of today’s standard functions or features like “parallax images” or even “padding” weren’t possible, forcing us to be more resourceful and inventive.
